Experience
I am currently a volunteer tutor at the Boys and Girls club and to an international graduate student. I am particularly helpful at helping students pay attention to information that is likely to be on a test. I also have a knack for making seemingly boring subjects more interesting by adding humor. I can easily relate to students having a difficult time retaining information that is introduced by traditional teaching. I have overcome my own obstacles to learning, and can help students tap into their own unique style.
