I'm a tutor based in Chicago, Illinois, where I enjoy spending time with my family and reading while I'm not in the classroom. I have my bachelor's degree in chemical engineering from the University of Illinois at Chicago. I have over 35 years of experience working with my chemical engineering degree. My experience covers the working world, where I was a chemical engineer manufacturing chemicals and fuels, and also in the teaching world where I've taught high school classes part-time. I've always found teaching to be much more rewarding than the professional world, because I have a deep passion for working with the next generation of scientists and mathematicians. I've always been passionate about science, so being able to transfer that passion to the next generation is why I love tutoring and teaching so much. I credit some of my teachers with bringing about my love for science, and I'd love to serve the same role for my pupils. I prefer tutoring individuals one-on-one so I can take their specific needs into account and create an individualized action plan with them in mind. I look forward to helping you excel in the classroom.
